Tired

I love you Mama ❤️

It’s been a year since she passed. May God bless her soul and grant her the highest level in Heaven. رحمك لله يا أمي الحبيبة ❤️

We’re meant to shine

To the broken hearted

This will feel like the end. And you will swear that this is the break that will finally kill you.

I promise that is only the shade of the sky before the breaking dawn. And you are not alone. You are under His watchful eye. In His loving care. He is the Doctor and you are His patient. This crucible isn’t your end. It is your polishing. Gold only burns to shine.

You must shed more of these chains. More of what binds you to this earth. Because you weren’t made for this world. You were made for the heavens. So you must rise. You will soar. But your wings must be free. And freedom requires struggle.

Rise up in hope, not despair. His promise has already come to pass. He has already saved you. The appoinment is set. But we must prepare and look our best, because on that day we’re not meant to just show up. We’re meant to shine.

Wait patiently, but not passively.

In this life, there will come different shades of tiredness. Some people will have minds that have grown tired.

For some, it will he their bodies.

For other, it’s the heart.

And then there will be some whose soul is tired.

These people didn’t get there overnight. These are the veterans of this life. The veterans of struggle, defeat. Loss. The veterans of tears and sleepless nights.

The veterans of prayer–but not the normal kind. The broken, desperate kind. The kind of prayer that can only come from a wounded heart.

To all those who are tired today, I can only ask you to look up to find the strength.

Wait patiently, but not passively.

Keep your eyes fixed. Don’t let the deceptive motions of this life distract you. Keep your eyes on God. Keep your heart fixed. On His work, His plan. And His mercy and support throughout it all.

Wait patiently, but not passively.

Watch His work, but don’t stop your own.

There is no better worship when you’re tired, then to keep fighting on.

You may think it doesn’t matter and nothing you do can make a difference. But remember, the seeds of an Oak don’t grow in a day.

Trust God

Something happens in the struggle: when your mind says it’s never going to work out, but in your heart, you know what God promised is on the way. Your mind says, “You’re wasting your time; there’s no use believing.” But you just keep on keeping on, doing the right thing, trusting God, thanking Him that’s it’s on the way. That’s sustaining faith. Don’t expect everything to be easy; don’t expect everyone to be for you. If it hasn’t happened yet, that doesn’t mean it’s not going to happen. The victory is on the other side of the opposition. It takes staying power, it takes a made-up mind, it takes someone that’s not moved by the circumstances.

It’s happening for you!

God wants good for you. Absorb that reality deep into your heart and mind. If you do, what follows is transformative. Always have a good opinion of God and know that everything He is doing in your life isn’t happening *to* you. It’s happening *for* you.
